Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 21 Northern State University wrestling team will host No. 8 Wisconsin Parkside on Friday evening. The dual will begin at 7 p.m. in Wachs Arena with three extra matches scheduled prior.

• The Wolves hold a 7-1 record overall and 3-1 mark in the NSIC
• Northern is ranked No. 21 in the most recent NWCA Poll with Wyatt Turnquist and James Burks sitting at No. 8 in their respective weights
• NSU is coming off a 21-18 road victory at MSU Moorhead
• Landen Fischer (11-4), Kolton Roth (12-2), Wyatt Turnquist (7-1), Kelby Hawkins (9-8), Treyton Cacek (9-3), and Marcus Placide (Fall 5:54) each recorded wins versus the Dragons

• Parkside enters the weekend with a 2-2 record overall and 2-1 mark in the NSIC with their league loss coming against St. Cloud State
• UWP is currently ranked eighth in the country with four wrestlers ranked in their respective weights
• The nationally ranked Rangers include No. 3 Joe Arroyo (125), No. 3 Shane Gantz (165), No. 6 Job Ayala (174), and No. 9 Rodsean Graham (197)
• Gantz is undefeated this season, holding a 21-0 recording, while Job Ayala and Joe Arroyo are 19-3 and 8-1 respectively
• The Rangers are led by head coach Nick Becker in his first season at the helm
