Aberdeen, S.D. – The (RV) Northern State University volleyball team dropped their first NSIC contest of the season to No. 6 Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday afternoon. After a well-played first set by the Wolves, the Golden Bears rallied back for three straight victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern took the first set 25-19, however dropped the following three sets with scores of 25-13, 25-20, and 25-21
- The Wolves out-hit the Golden Bears .227 to .132 in the first set with a match high 15 kills
- NSU finished the contest with a .161 attack percentage, notching 44 kills and 41 assists
- They added a match high 61 digs and 11 blocks
- Concordia hit .204 in the match with 51 kills, 44 assists, and 22 hitting errors
- Sally Gaul and Natalia Szybinska led the offense with ten kills apiece, while four Wolves notched double figure digs
- Olivia Rud led the team at the net for the second straight contest and ninth time this season with five blocks

The Wolves remain at home next Friday and Saturday for the annual Gypsy Days Homecoming weekend. First serve is set for 6 p.m. each day with the Wolves taking on the University of Sioux Falls on Friday and Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday.
