Minneapolis, Minn. – The Northern State University cross country teams competed at the well-known Roy Griak Invite earlier today. The Wolves women took 13^th with 377 total points, while the men took 16^th with 478 points.
 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Megan Mooberry was the top placer for the Wolves women with a time of 23:56.40 in 51^st overall
• Jordyn Sterud, Megan Pickering, and Jennifer Clark landed in the top-100, notching times of 24:09.00, 24:21.40, and 24:31.60 respectively

 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Jackson Harrison led the way for the Northern State men in eighth with a time of 25:53.60; he was the top NSIC finisher in the race
• Nathan Alto and Jonathan Burkhalter followed with times of 27:40.30 and 23:39.50
• Chase Smith and Rhaecine Sam rounded out the Wolves top-5 hitting the finish line in 28:46.30 and 28:47.00

The Wolves take a weekend off to host their annual Steps for Shep race next Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. from the Barnett Center. The two teams will be back in action on Friday, October 8 from the Jimmie Invite. Race starts are set for 4 p.m. for the men and 4:45 p.m. for the women.
