Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Meghan Anderson (softball) and Justin Hutter (baseball) have been named the NSU Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week. The NSU Athletes of the Week award is sponsored by the South Dakota Army National Guard.
 
Anderson went 3-0 with a 0.33 ERA versus UMary, Bemidji State, and Minnesota Crookston. She tallied a .116 opponent batting average through 21.0 innings pitched. The sophomore threw a no hitter on Sunday versus Minnesota Crookston, striking out 13. She recorded 36 total strikeouts in the three wins and dropped her season ERA by nearly one point.
 
Hutter hit .529 for Northern State versus Sioux Falls and Upper Iowa. He recorded nine hits, including two doubles, and added two RBI and two runs scored. The senior tallied multiple hits in all four games and is currently on a 5-game hit streak. Defensively, Hutter notched 12 putouts and eight assists.
