Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team continues NSIC competition on the road this weekend, facing Concordia-St. Paul. The two teams will face off at the neutral venue of Veterans Field in Minnetonka, Minn., with Concordia slated as the home team. Game times are set for 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
- The Wolves enter the weekend 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the NSIC
- Northern is hitting .200 as a team with 39 hits, seven doubles, two triples, three homeruns, 22 RBI, and 23 runs scored
- Reece Ragatz and Spencer Sarringar lead the team hitting .320 on the year with eight hits apiece and a combined 11 RBI and nine runs scored
- The NSU staff posts a 7.35 ERA through 49.0 innings pitched with 66 strikeouts and a .276 opponent batting average
- Seth Brewer and Zach Hartford threw the two wins this season, with Brewer leading the starters notching a 3.55 ERA
- Zach Hrvol has served up a team best 21 strikeouts as well
CONCORDIA-ST. PAUL STORYLINES
- The Golden Bears enter the weekend with a 6-2 record and 2-1 mark in the league
- They faced Minnesota Duluth in the opening weekend of NSIC play
- Concordia is hitting .242 as a team with 57 hits, 15 doubles, two homeruns, 31 RBI, and 36 runs scored
- Ryan Bastyr leads the squad with a .348 average, while Matt Pietsch is hitting .345 with a team high 10 hits
- The Golden Bear staff posts a 2.67 ERA through 64.0 innings pitched with 59 strikeouts and a .205 opponent batting average
- Griffin Lapp leads the starters with a 1.84 ERA and 13 strikeouts in two appearances
- CSP is led by head coach Neil Lerner in his 12th season with the program and second at the helm
