Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University swim team will return to Aberdeen on Friday night for a dual meet against Augustana. The Wolves will honor three seniors as part of Senior Night, who are Marialuisa Avila, Connor Doran, and Emma Murdock.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State enters Friday's dual meet with a record of 2-3
• The Wolves last competed on Saturday at the University of Sioux Falls, losing the dual meet 183-77
• Marialuisa Avila recorded the lone event win and season best time for Northern in the 100 yard butterfly against USF in a time of 1:00.52
• Maddie Gonzales earned two second place finishes in Saturday's dual meet, the 100 yard backstroke (1:00.83) and the 200 yard backstroke (2:14.95)
• Gonzales' times in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke against Sioux Falls were both the 11^th best time in the NSIC for each event, and were also season best times
• Haley Osborne earned three top-3 finishes in the meet, second place in the 500 yard freestyle (5:33.50), and third place in both the 50 yard freestyle (26.21) and the 200 yard freestyle (2:01.82)
• Fanny Legros currently owns the seventh best time in the conference for the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 19:10.07

AUGUSTANA STORYLINES

• Augustana enters Friday's dual meet with a record of 6-6
• The Vikings last competed on October 22-23 at a Quad Invite hosted by Colorado Mesa, Augie went 3-3 with two wins over Western Colorado and another over Colorado School of Mines
• Taylor Beagle has been named the NSIC Swimmer of the Week twice this season on October 12^th and 19^th
• Beagle owns multiple of the top times in the NSIC this season, top four times in the 500 yard freestyle (5:09.04), top two times in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:30.30), top two times in the 1650 yard freestyle (17:26.20), and the top time in the 400 yard IM (4:38.34)
• Leona Coha ranks top ten in multiple events in the conference, second in the 200 yard butterfly (2:12.61), second in the 400 yard IM (4:41.10), third in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:38.62), third in the 1650 yard freestyle (17:46.62), and sixth in the 500 yard freestyle (5:13.68)
• The Vikings own the top 400 yard freestyle relay time in the conference at 3:37.66

LOOKING BACK TO JANUARY

• Northern State and Augustana last competed against each other on January 16 in a pair of triple-duals in Sioux Falls, where the Vikings won both duals 114-53 and 95-52
• The Vikings lead the all-time series 9-1, and have won the past eight duals between the teams
