Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State volleyball team is set to host Upper Iowa and #8 Winona State in the final weekend of the regular season. The first serve for the Wolves and the Peacocks is set for 6 p.m. on Friday night, and the start time for the Wolves and Warriors is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State opens the weekend with a record of 17-9 (12-6 NSIC), and is currently in a three way tie for fifth place in the conference
• The Wolves are currently on a five match win streak, they swpet #10 Concordia St. Paul and won a five set match at Minnesota State last weekend
• As a team Northern is hitting .256 on the year, averaging 13.3 kills, 12.3 assists, 14.6 digs, 1.6 aces, and 2.3 blocks per set
• Keri Walker reached the 1000 career assist mark in last Friday's sweep of CSP, she notched 125 assists and averaged 11.36 assists per set over three games last week to bring her season total to 1064 assists
• The Wolves have three players with over 200 kills on the season; Sally Gaul leads the team with 359 kills and averages 3.66 per set, Natalia Szybinska has 297 and averages 3.03 per set, and Taylor Buckley has 208 and averages 2.12 per set
• Havyn Heinz leads the team in digs with 373 and averages 4.01 per set, while Olivia Rud leads the team with 106 total blocks and averages 1.08 per set
• Northern saw three players get named to All-NSIC teams on Thursday morning; Sally Gaul earned First Team All-Conference, while Peyton Ellingson and Natalia Szybinska was named Second Team All-Conference

UPPER IOWA STORYLINES

• Upper Iowa opens the weekend with a record of 19-8 (12-6 NSIC), and they are also a part of the three way tie for fifth place in the conference
