Jamestown, N.D. – The Northern State University cross country teams took second (women) and third (men) from the 2021 Jimmie Invite earlier this evening. The Northern State women tallied an averaging time of 19:36.10, while the men notched an average time of 27:15.40.  
 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Megan Pickering led the way for the Wolves women, recording a time of 19:04.90 in sixth place overall
• Jennifer Clark and Jordyn Sterud followed in eighth and 12^th with times of 19:24.90 and 19:39.10, while Mary Franssen and Victoria Kolbinger took 15^th and 16^th with times of 19:54.40 and 19:56.90
• Jenna Helms and Kenzie Hamann rounded out the top-20 in the race, crossing the line in 19:58.00 and 20:09.80

 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Jackson Harrison tallied the top finish for the men, taking third with a time of 25:43.40
• Nathan Alto landed in the top-10, taking ninth with a time of 26:44.00
• Rhaecine Sam, Jonathan Burkhalter, and Michael Wirth were the next three finishers, crossing the line in 27:37.00, 27:48.50, and 28:23.70

Northern State is back in action on Saturday, October 23^rd at the NSIC Championships. Race times are set for 10 a.m. for the women and 11:15 a.m. for the men from Wayne.
