Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State women's soccer team enters the home stretch of the regular season and is set for a road match at St. Cloud State on Friday prior to their final regular season home game against Minnesota Duluth on Sunday. The game on Sunday will be Senior Day for the Wolves as they honor the programs seven senior athletes.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State enters this weekend with a record of 7-4-3 (6-3-3 NSIC), and is currently sixth place in the conference with three games remaining in the regular season
• Last weekend the Wolves went 2-0 and earned a pair of 1-0 victories over Upper Iowa and Winona State
• Megan Fastenau recorded the game winning goals in both league contests last weekend, leading the way to her being selected as the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon
• Alexus Townsend and the Northern State defense have now recorded five consecutive shutouts, and have not allowed a goal in the last 514:01 minutes of playing time

• Last weekend the Huskies went 1-1, dropping their first match against Augustana 3-1 and closed the weekend with a 1-0 victory over Wayne State
• In Sunday's win over WSC the Huskies took a season high 36 shots, 16 of which were on goal, marking the fourth time this season with over 20 shot attempts in a game
