Aberdeen, S.D. – The (RV) Northern State University volleyball team fell to No. 13 St. Cloud State from Wachs Arena on Friday evening in 5-sets. The Wolves battled taking the first and third sets, however were unable to hand the Huskies their second NSIC loss of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern opened the match with a 25-17 victory in set one, hitting an evening high .342
- St. Cloud responded with a 25-22 win in set two and the Wolves tallied a 25-23 victory in the third
- The Huskies sealed the match win with scores of 25-22 and 15-11 in the fourth and fifth sets
- The Wolves hit .234 in the match, notching a match high 66 kills, 15 blocks and seven aces
- NSU added 68 digs and 55 assists in what played out to be a very evenly matched competition between the two teams
- Three Wolves tallied double figures on offense and defense
- Sally Gaul led the team with a season high 21 kills, as well as a career high ten blocks
- Taylor Buckley notched a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs, while Havyn Heinz recorded 20 digs
