Aberdeen, S.D. – The (RV) Northern State University wrestling team opens the NCAA Super Region 5 Tournament at 10 a.m. this Saturday. Competition will take place from the Sioux Falls Arena. Session two will begin at 7 p.m. with three mats in action all day.

• NSU will compete against wrestlers from Augustana, UMary, Minnesota State, MSU Moorhead, Minot State, Southwest Minnesota State, St. Cloud State, Upper Iowa, and Wisconsin Parkside
• The Wolves were ranked fifth in the last regional poll with seven Wolves individually ranked in No. 6 Dayne Morton (133), No. 6 Kenny Jones (141), No. 4 Caden Moore (149), No. 2 James Burks (157), No. 4 Billy Holtan (165), No. 2 Marcus Placide (184), and No. 6 Caleb Lefferdink (285)
• Junior Marcus Placide was named to the NSIC All-Conference second team earlier this week
