Brookings, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field teams concluded regular season indoor competition from the SDSU Last Chance Meet. Northern tallied seven event victories from the meet.
 
Women
HIGHLIGHTS

• Isabel Kinzer won the 400m dash with a time of 58.93
• Jennifer Clark tallied a personal record in the 800m run, taking seventh overall with a time of 2:25.24
• Shanice Burrell took eighth in the 60m hurdles, hitting the line at 9.68
• Tava Berg tallied a fifth place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.54m
• Kealy Hill and Jordyn Huneke went one-two in the pole vault with marks of 3.88m and 3.58m respectively
• In the long jump, Dakota Hutzler and Grace Elvert took fourth and fifth jumping 4.94m and 4.71m
• Nicolette Kneeland took eighth in the weight, throwing a personal record 16.74m

 
Men
HIGHLIGHTS

• Hunter Hansen led three Wolves in the 60m dash finals, taking third with a time of 7.15
• Zach Bohnenkamp and Isaiha Fletcher followed in seventh and eighth with times of 7.23 and 7.26
• Fletcher went on to win the 200m dash, breaking his own school record with a time of 22.05
• Kelson Brewer and Seth Martens added fifth and seventh place finishes in the 200m, crossing the line at 23.28 and 23.43
• Ronald Stephenson won the 400m dash with a time of 50.91, while Martens, Jared Tyrrell, and Isaac Olson finished fourth through sixth
• Tafara Hondonga took second in the 600m run as the top Division II placer, notching a time of 1:22.36
• Riccardo Done led the way in the 800m run with a time of 1:58.09 in fourth overall
• Jorge Garcia added a race win in the mile, crossing the finish line at 4:34.86
• Kelson Brewer won the pole vault with a personal record of 4.65m, followed by Bryce Malsam in second clearing 4.50m
• Darrian Hood took fourth in the long jump with a 5.90m mark
• Hood went on to jump 12.76m placing third in the triple jump
• Tanner Berg tallied a ninth place finish in the shot put, throwing 14.73m, and won the weight throw with a 20.95m mark

 
BEYOND THE RESULTS

• Fletcher broke his own school record in the 200m by .03 seconds; it is the third time this season he has accomplished the feat
