Jaiden Langlie and
Ashley Rozell have been named the NSIC Defensive Player and Setter of the Week per the league office. The No. 8 Wolves went 2-0 over the weekend, defeating (RV) Augustana, 3-1, and No. 20 Wayne State, 3-0. The honor is the second of the season for Rozell.
NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#14 Jaiden Langlie (L, 5-6, Sr., Fargo, N.D. / Fargo Davies HS)
- Led the Wolves to back-to-back season highs in digs with 45 on the weekend
- Averaged 6.43 digs per set against (RV) Augustana and No. 20 Wayne State
- Tallied 22 digs against Augie and 23 against Wayne State
- Averaged a season high 7.67 per set versus the Wildcats
- Added one assist and one ace
NSIC Setter of the Week
#8 Ashley Rozell (S, 5-11, R-Sr., Warner, S.D. / Warner HS)
- Paced the Northern State offense with 98 assists in wins over (RV) Augie and No. 20 WSC
- Averaged an NSIC best 14.00 assists per set on the weekend
- Helped the Wolves to a .277 team hitting percentage
- Recorded 27 digs, averaging 3.86 per set and added five blocks, three kills, and one ace
- Named NSIC Setter of the Week for the second time this season (9/9/19)
