Brookings, S.D. – The Northern State men's and women's cross country teams took on the SDSU Classic this evening from the Edgebrook Golf Course competing in the 5k and 8k. The women finished four overall with an average time of 20:34.19, while the men placed fifth with an average time of 27:47.02.
 
MEN
HIGHLIGHTS

• Jackson Harrison was the top finisher on the men's side, taking 19^th overall with a time of 26:29.07
• Harrison was the top NCAA Division II finisher in the race
• Riccardo Done rounded out the top-30 with a time of 27:21.16
• Logan Swenson, Jalen Chase, and Michael Wirth followed with times of 27:56.71, 28:13.53, and 28:54.59

 
WOMEN
HIGHLIGHTS

• Jordyn Sterud was the top finisher for the NSU women for the second week in a row, taking 30^th overall with a time of 20:08.48
• Livia Wallace landed in the top-40, crossing the line at 20:33.20
• Jennifer Clark, Abberly Smith, and Madison Leapaldt rounded out the Wolves top-5 with times of 20:39.67, 20:43.76, and 20:45.80

 
UP NEXT
The Wolves will be off next week, prior to heading to the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday, September 28 in Minneapolis. Race start is set for 11:10 a.m. for the women and 12:10 p.m. for the men from the Les Bolstad Golf Course.
