Season and Career Bests
Prep: Jordyn Sterud is a middle distance and distance runner out of Lac Qui Parle Valley High School, who will compete in both track and field and cross country. She is a 5-year letter winner in both sports for the Eagles under the direction of head coaches John Shurb and Jon Kvaal. Sterud holds personal records of 19:49 in the 5000m, 12:09 in the 3200m, 5:34 in the 1600m, and 2:25 in the 800m. As a freshman she earned the Rookie of the Year award in both cross country and track and field. Sterud is a 4-time all-conference honoree, 2-time conference champion, and 3-time state qualifier in cross country. She is also a 2-time all-conference selection and 3-time conference champion (2016: mile, 2017: mile and 2 mile) on the track. Sterud is a member of the school record holding 4x800 relay team in 2015. She is also a member of the Eagle basketball team. She is the daughter of Steven and Jodi Sterud.
