Partial squad opens Dakota Relays with seven top-10 finishes

Sioux Falls, S.D. – In the first day of the Dakota Relays, the Northern State University track and field team tallied seven top-10 finishes with a small group in competition.
 
MEN
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Tanner Berg opened the day with a second place finish in the hammer throw, notching a mark of 56.43m (185-02)
  • Austin Eppard added a ninth place finish in the discus throwing 46.70m (153-02)
 
WOMEN
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Nicolette Kneeland finished sixth in the hammer throw with a 48.95m (160-07) toss
  • Kealy Hill tallied a personal best of 3.60m in the pole vault, tied for eighth overall
  • Hannah Kastigar ran to a ninth place finish in the 800m run with a time of 2:17.26
  • Jordan Menken added an eight place finish in the discus, throwing 43.45m (142-07)
  • Kailee Oliverson tallied the final top-10 finish for the Wolves taking seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.50m (4-11.)

The Wolves return to the Dakota Relays tomorrow and Howard Wood Field. Friday's javelin results were unavailable and will be posted following competition tomorrow.
