BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The 2019 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Leadership Summit will take place May 20-22 on the campus of Northern State University. Over 70 representatives from all 16 NSIC institutions will participate in activities to build camaraderie between NSIC SAAC leadership, enhance communication skills and learn more about preparing for life after college. 

The event kicks off on Monday afternoon with a joint meeting between the NSIC SAAC Student-Athletes and the NSIC Board of Directors followed by a dinner together.  During the joint meeting the second annual NSIC SAAC Cup will be awarded.  The first day will wrap up with the group headed to Wylie Park.

Tuesday begins with Jill Willson from Double L Consulting working with the group on a SAAC Strategic Plan. Tuesday afternoon student-athletes will report on the APPLE Conference and the Student-Athlete Leadership Forum followed by leadership programming.  After dinner the group will participate in Strengths programming. 

On Wednesday morning, the group will hold their annual NSIC SAAC business meeting.
