NSIC NETWORK OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES WITH MIDCO SPORTS® HEADING INTO 2026-27

Sioux Falls, S.D. / Burnsville, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and Midco Sports® launched the new streaming home of the NSIC Network today. Midco Sports® will power the NSIC Network and serve as the centralized home for NSIC digital content, delivering exclusive live and on-demand streaming coverage of all 16 member schools, including Northern State University athletics. 

“The launch of the NSIC Network and continued partnership with Midco Sports is an outstanding opportunity and one that we are excited to be part of,” noted Nate Davis, NSU Director of Athletics. “This platform will provide our fans with a first-class, user-friendly way to stay connected to our teams, while spotlighting the tremendous performances from our student-athletes. The new resources from this partnership will allow us to continue our efforts of investing in our programs to provide student-athletes a tremendous experience during their time as Wolves.”  

Fans can subscribe to Midco Sports Plus and gain access to a comprehensive lineup of NSIC contests and content. All home regular season conference and non-conference contests will be available through a monthly or annual subscription. In addition, NSIC Championships will be streamed on the platform, giving fans even more ways to follow their favorite teams throughout the season.

“The NSIC is committed to creating the best possible experience for our student-athletes, institutions and fans, and this partnership with Midco Sports helps us do exactly that,” said Erin Lind, Commissioner of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. “With Midco Sports Plus as the new home for NSIC streaming, we’re excited to provide access to our schools and championship competition while delivering a more modern, user-friendly viewing experience for fans everywhere.”

Fans can choose to join the NSIC Network and Midco Sports Plus through either an annual or monthly subscription with the Midco Sports Plus 1 package. The annual subscription equates to less than $7 per month ($79/year), while the monthly subscription is available for $15. The Midco Sports Plus 1 option, includes full NSIC coverage plus the Summit League season.

With the July 16th launch of the platform Midco Sports Plus, the NSIC, and Northern State University Athletics will award one lucky Wolves fan with a free annual subscription for 2026-27 (Midco Sports Plus 1 package). To enter fill out each field on the annual subscription giveaway form linked HERE. Submissions will be accepted through 12 p.m. on July 31, 2026, with the winner drawn and contacted shortly after.

    • Expanded global access, making Midco Sports content available to fans around the world
    • Enhanced account management to create a more personalized experience
  • Additional upcoming enhancements include multi-game viewing and expanded connected TV support, including Samsung and LG devices

Northern State Athletics offers fans across the globe the ability to track and follow all 15 intercollegiate athletic programs through streaming on Midco Sports Plus as outlined above, home contest attendance as a season ticket holder or single game purchaser, the NSU Wolves Buddies program sponsored by Culver’s Restaurants for young fans, in-game live statistics and live result links, live radio broadcasts with Fox Sports Aberdeen/Hub City Radio, the NSU Wolves mobile apps (iOS and Android), and department and team specific social media platforms.
