Tanner Berg made his mark on Northern State track and field history today, becoming the 28
th All-American on the men's side. Berg concluded his indoor season earning the first All-American honors of his career in the weight throw.
The sophomore took 11
th overall in the event, as a second team All-American. He throw 19.52m (64-0.5 feet) on his first toss of the day. Berg was the second NSIC finisher in the field.
The Northern State track and field teams will open the outdoor season March 23-24 at the Wayne State Wildcat Classic, as well as the Cal Poly Shareslo Invite on March 24.
