Aberdeen, S.D.  – The No. 7 Northern State University volleyball team is set for two matches this week versus MSU Moorhead and the University of Mary. The Wolves will travel to face the Dragons at 6 p.m. on Thursday and return home to face the Marauders at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The contest with the Marauders will feature Trick or Treat with the Wolves. Kinds age 17 adn under will be admitted free to the match with costume. A costume contest will take place between sets two and three, and trick or treating with NSU student-athletes will take place following the match.

                • Northern State is coming off a 1-1 weekend on the road at (RV) Minnesota State and No. 7 Concordia-St. Paul
                • With the 3-set loss to the Golden Bears, Northern dropped four spots in the AVCA Top-25 Poll to No. 7
                • The Wolves currently sit tied for second in the NSIC standings with three weeks remaining in the regular season

                • Jenna Reiff follows close behind with 261 kills, averaging 3.48 per set, and is second on the team defensively with 231 digs, averaging 3.08 per set
                • Ashley Rozell is nearing the Northern State career assists record having accumulated 908 this season; she ranks third in the nation averaging 12.11 assists per set
                • Jaiden Langlie leads the Wolves defense with 339 digs, averaging 4.52 per set, and has a team high 24 service aces
                • Peyton Ellingson has been a force at the net with 90 blocks on the year, averaging an NSIC leading 1.25 per set
 
MATCHING UP WITH THE DRAGONS
                • MSU Moorhead enters the week with an 8-13 record overall and 3-10 mark in the NSIC
                • The Dragons are hitting .183 on the year, averaging 10.4 kills, 9.6 assists, 13.3 digs, 1.3 aces, and 1.9 blocks per set
                • Sarah Petrbok leads the team with 152 kills, averaging 2.08 per set, while Kaylyn Jenkins has 131 kills, averaging 1.79 per set
                • Jenkins is the lone Dragon hitting above .300 this season at .307
                • Amber Bretwisch has dished out 370 assists, averaging 5.14 per set, followed by Katelyn Selensky with 155, averaging 3.17 per set
                • Petrbok also leads the defensive effort with 206 digs, averaging 2.82 per set, while Jenkins leads the team at the net with 67 blocks, averaging just under one per set
                • MSU Moorhead is led by head coach Tammy Blake in her 24th season at the helm
