Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University wrestling team will hit the mat tomorrow from three duals against Chadron State, Lindenwood, and Western State from the UNK Midwest Duals. Match start times are scheduled for 9 a.m. against the Eagles, 10:30 a.m. against the Lions, and 12 p.m. versus the Mountaineers.
Northern is coming off a 36-6 NSIC dual loss to Augustana on the road.
Tanner Olson and Diego Gallegos tallied decision victories for NSU to lead the team. Olson tallied a 3-2 decision win over Bruce Lemon, while Gallegos notched a 6-2 decision victory over Austin Ward. The Wolves have battled injury this season with
Kenny Jones (12-5) out for the season.
Paxton Mewes and Riley Alderman led the active wrestlers with nine and eight wins this season. Northern is 1-4 overall and 0-1 in the league in duals this season.
