Women's Soccer NSU Sports Information

Soccer Welcomes Griffons and Dragons

Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State Women's soccer will end their non-conference schedule against the Missouri Western State University Griffons and open their conference schedule against the MSU–Moorhead Dragons this Friday and Sunday from Jerde Field. NSU will face off against Missouri Western at 4 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 3 p.m. match-up with the Dragons on Sunday.

In last week's game, the Wolves shut out the Yellow Jackets, of Black Hills State University 4-0.  NSU out-shot BHSU 30-10, including 13 shots on goal to Black Hills four.  Allison Byrd, Shianne Rosselli, Elise Benner, and Megan Norton each notched a goal in the win.  Byrd led the team with ten shots, four shots on goal, one goal, and one assist. Justine Charles had four saves in her first shut-out of the season for the Wolves.
