Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State University athletics and the Northern State University Foundation are set to welcome alumni and friends back the Aberdeen for the annual Gypsy Days celebration. The Wolves football team will kick-off against Minot State at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday from Swisher field. Alumni and friends are invited to the Gypsy Days tailgate beginning at 11 a.m. in Ken's SuperFair Foods Tailgate Lot at the south end of Swisher Field.
 
The Alumni Association is hosting an alumni and friends tailgate sponsored by Jimmy John's and RDO Equipment, while the Royal Order of the Gyps and the Wolves Club will host a tailgate sponsored by Ken's SuperFair Foods, RDO Equipment and the Royal Order of the Gyps. Both tailgates will take place under the Ken's SuperFair Foods and Dacotah Bank tents.
 
Although the tailgates are open to alumni and members of both the Gyps and the Wolves Club, the tailgate lot will charge $10 per vehicle to park. Free parking is available both in the North and Roosevelt Street lots.
 
The RDO Kids Zone will open at noon at the south end of Swisher Field. Halftime will feature the NSU Marching Wolves as well as recognition of the NSU Hall of Fame, Distinguished Alumni and Kretchman Coaching Award Recipients.
