Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team will face off with Jamestown University in a 9-inning non-conference contest. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. from Jamestown. NSU is currently 11-13 this season and 4-8 in Northern Sun Conference play.Â

The Wolves have struggled to string together successful innings as of late, with a current seven game loss streak in NSIC play. In those seven games, NSU has recorded 59 hits but left 50 runners on base.
Jack Schmidt is leading the NSU offense with a .500 average this season. The sophomore has tallied a team leading 48 hits, 33 runs scored, and 30 RBI.
Matt Stubbs is second on the team with a .441 average and a team second best 41 hits. Northern currently has six starters hitting above .300 this season with a team average of .331.
Colton Boucher is leading the NSU pitching staff with a 4-1 record this season and 35 strikeouts.
Nick Hoffard and
Marcus Manderbach are both 2-2 this season as well.
