Ben Cauffman.
Carson Henry and
Matt Bettencourt put together back-to-back pins, which gave the Wolves the 12-3 lead. Henry quickly opened the 133 pound match with a takedown, and pinned Anthony Locke just 59 seconds into the match.
Bettencourt battled with Jacob Berg in the opening period, and got out to a 6-2 lead. The junior chose the neutral position to open the second period and immediately took down his opponent. Bettencourt's victory by fall came just seconds later at 3:17 in the match.
Tyler Stenberg kept the wins rolling for NSU, defeating Seth Ehlang in an 18-6 major decision. Stenberg controlled the match from the start, taking an 8-1 lead in the opening three minutes of action. The junior added a trio of takedowns, as well as a reversal and escape to secure four points for Northern.

Northern gave up points in the next three weight classes, leaving the team's fate in the hands of returning All-American
Joe Gomez. Gomez and Hudson Buck went scoreless in the opening period and finished the second tied at two all. Buck chose bottom to open the third and Gomez capitalized with a reversal and rode the Blue Hawk out to finish the match. Gomez's 5-2 decision victory was all the Wolves needed to secure the dual victory.
