Wolves Take on SCSU and UMD in Last Regular Season Road Games

The Northern State women's basketball team travels this weekend to face St. Cloud State and the University of Minnesota Duluth. The Wolves are coming off a weekend split from Wachs Arena defeating Augustana University (60-57) and falling to Wayne State College (51-66). NSU sits atop the NSIC North with an overall record of 17-6 overall and a 13-5 record in league play, locked in with division rivals MSUM.

Two starters are in double-digit scoring with sophomore Jill Conrad leading the way with a 13.6 points per game average and senior Devon Brecke following up with 11.0 points per game. Through mid-season action, the Wolves are shooting 41.3% from the floor, 31.2% from 3-point range, and 73.3% from the foul line this season.

NSU is third in the league in scoring defense, behind nationally ranked Winona State, with a 61.1 mark. As a team, Northern State also leads the NSIC with the largest rebounding margin at 6.2. Lauren Deadrick has continued to dominate on the boards for the Wolves, with a team-high 9.0 rebounds each match.
