Full Game Schedule 
Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University softball team will begin their spring break schedule tomorrow from Clermont, Florida. The Wolves will participate in the NTC Games March 7-13, with an off day on the 10^th. Northern is currently 4-2 in the year after playing a trio of nonconference doubleheaders.
 
NSU has recorded victories over Minnesota Duluth (5-0), Northeastern State (4-2, 6-2), and Drury University (7-2). After an explosive day versus the Panthers of Drury, Eryn Yancy leads the Wolves with a .471 average on the year. She has tallied three homeruns, two doubles, eight hits, five runs scored, and eight RBI in six games played. Northern boasts five players batting .300 or better on the year, with a team average of .277.
 
Missy Elkins leads the NSU pitching staff with a 1.94 ERA and two wins this season. Elkins has tallied 11 strikeouts and one shutout for NSU in 18 innings pitched. Kami Smesmo is second on the team with two wins of her own and ten strikeouts on the year. Versus Northeastern State, Smesmo notched her 357^th career strikeout, making her the new record holder for Northern State.
 
Northern will face Northwood University (MI), Saint Joseph College, Bloomsburg University, Kutztown University, Lees-McRae College, Bentley University, Quincy University, West Liberty, Hillsdale College, Ohio Dominican, and West Chester in the games.
