BISMARCK, N.D. - The Northern State tennis program locked up three straight victories over the weekend, posting a 6-3 win over U-Mary on Friday and backing that up with an 8-1 win over MSU Moorhead and a 9-0 win over Bemidji State on Saturday.  The three wins extend NSU's win streak to six.

The Wolves were led by senior Jamie Golden and freshman Valerie Robinson, both of whom won all six of their matches on the weekend, including key singles matches in the win over U-Mary that sparked four straight wins from No. 3 to No. 6 singles to seal the overall team win.

"It was a great weekend for our team," said NSU head coach Mark Lovrien.  "We had a lot of players play some of their best tennis of the year."

Now 6-2 overall and 5-2 in conference play, Northern State is back in action next weekend, taking on St. Cloud State and Southwest Minnesota State in another set of key Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match-ups.
