CLERMONT, FLA. – The Northern State Wolves traveled to Cleremont, Florida for a week long set of games as they continue their non-conference schedule. The Wolves dropped their record to 4-2 after two losses on the day.

In the day's first game, the Wolves played against Dominican College of New York, falling 15-0. Kelsey Robling had a great effort in the game going 2-2. Kelli Bornander dropped her pitching record to 2-1 on the young season.

In the second game of the day, the Wolves played a stingy UNC Pembroke Braves squad. The Braves squeaked out two runs in the third inning after using a combination of power and small ball to advance the runners. The Braves put two more runs on the board in the top of the seventh.

The Wolves had a hard time making contact, getting just three hits coming from Eryn Yancy, Kelsey Robling and Ashley Gabler. Freshman Kami Smesmo gave up three earned runs for her first loss on the season.
