Weather re-arranges weekend softball slate

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The recent early-spring snowstorm has forced a shift in the Northern State University softball schedule.  NSU was originally slated to face three teams for four total games in this, their final weekend before the start of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference slate.

The Wolves were to face Southwest Minnesota State and Wayne State in a pair of non-conference tilts on Friday.  Those games will not be made up.  NSU was also slated to take on Morningside College in a Saturday double-header.  Those games have been postponed until Wednesday, March 30 at 3 p.m. in Sioux City, Iowa.

NSU is 6-10 on the season heading into next week's games, a mark that includes a 5-6 showing in Florida during the Wolves' annual spring break trip.  The Wolves kick off the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference slate on April 2-3 at Augustana and Wayne State, respectively.
