JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Kaylee McDonald and
Lexi Jares each scored a first half goal while
Kirsten Saunders added a third in the second half as the Northern State University women's soccer team tallied a 3-0 shutout over Jamestown College Thursday night in non-conference play.
The win lifts the Wolves to 4-3 overall while the Jimmies fall to 0-7-1 overall.
McDonald scored the game's first goal in the tenth minute, while Jares tacked on an insurance goal at the 32:02 mark. Saunders' goal came with just over 25 minutes left in the second half, making it a 3-0 edge for the Wolves.

NSU now turns its attention to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference portion of the schedule, traveling to Bismark, N.D. on Sunday to take on the University of Mary.
