Biography
2008: Played in and started all 22 games of the season... Speedy outside midfielder/forward... Registered four goals and four assists to finish the season with 12 points... Third on the team in goals, shots (53), shots on goal (30) and total points (12)... Tied for second in assists... Had the game-winning goal for the Wolves on Sept. 5 in a 2-1 victory over Dakota Wesleyan... Helped lead the Wolves to an 11th straight appearance in the NSIC post-season tournament.
2007: Played in all 22 games of the season... Started nine... Recorded two goals and a team-best seven assists... Had two assists and one goal in a 7-1 win over Minnesota Crookston on Sept. 22... Helped the team to a 10th straight appearance in the NSIC post-season tournament.
2006: Medical Redshirt Season.
High School: Saunders was a 2006 graduate of Cherry Creek High School in Englewood, Colo. She was a three time letter winner at Cherry Creek and was also honored with the high school’s top athlete award for soccer. Off the field Saunders was part of the French Honor Society, the National Honor Society and also earned top academic honors all four years of her high school career.
