Biography

2008: Played in all 22 games of the season for the Wolves as a true freshman, starting 14... Led the team and was third in the overall conference statistics with 13 goals... Also recorded three assists to finish with 29 points, fourth overall in the conference statistical listing... Notched her first career hat trick after scoring all three goals of a 3-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota State on Oct. 5... Took seven total shots in that game, five of which were on goal and three of which went for a score... Tallied four total game-winning goals on the year... Second Team All-NSIC selection for her efforts.

High School: McDonald is from Ramsey, Minn. and a graduate of Elk River High School. She earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors in 2005 and 2006. She was an All-State First Team athlete in 2007, as well as an All-Conference honoree. McDonald was a NW Suburban Conference leading scorer in 2007 with 16 goals and 9 assists in 21 games. McDonald was Minneapolis St Paul Star Tribune “Athlete of the Week” and Elk River Star News “Athlete of the Week” in 2007. McDonald was All-Conference in track her sophomore and junior year.
