WAYNE, Neb. - Northern State's baseball team (4-20, 2-14 NSIC) fell in both games of a doubleheader played Sunday afternoon against Wayne State College (24-6, 10-2 NSIC).  The Wildcats topped the Wolves 19-5 in the first game and 3-2 in the second game.  The Wolves and Wildcats face off again tomorrow afternoon.

Tom Keiser went 3-for-4 at the plate on the day with an RBI.  Tyler Oliver had an RBI single and two total RBIs in game 1.  Adam Kampsen had two hits in game two and scored one of the team's two runs.  Brock Pashen pitched a complete second game, giving up just two earned runs and striking out five batters.  Three fielding errors gave the game to the Wildcats in the close 3-2 decision.  The Wolves had five hits in each game, but WSC tapped out 28 hits in the doubleheader.
