ABERDEEN, S.D. - Snow has once again hit Aberdeen and has disrupted Northern State's spring sports schedules. NSU's baseball and softball home openers for this week have all been cancelled or postponed and it appears that local sports fans will have to tune into the Minnesota Twins to get their diamond fix.
Northern State baseball's Tuesday doubleheader against Jamestown College has been cancelled. The Wolves are scheduled to play at Southwest Minnesota State on Wednesday, but Marshall, Minn. has also received several inches of snow and the chances of playing look dismal.
Softball was slated to open their home schedule on Wednesday against MSU Moorhead, but the twinbill has been rescheduled for Monday, April 28. Thursday's doubleheader with St. Cloud State has been cancelled.
