ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The Northern State softball team played their first games of the year on Friday evening against St. Cloud State. They dropped a 0-5 decision in the first game and fell 3-11 in game 2. The Wolves will continue play in St. Cloud this weekend at the HuskyDome Invite.

Christi Schulte each notched two hits on the day to lead the Wolves' offense. Two fielding errors in the first game led to two of SCSU's five runs. The Wolves were out-hit 20-7 on the day. Schulte spent four innings on the rubber and struck out three batters.
