ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State Wolves ended a five-game losing skid Friday when they defeated the Winona State University Warriors by a score of 3-1. The Wolves got revenge for a 3-0 loss they suffered at the hands of Winona State back on October 3rd. Set scores for the match were 25-16, 21-15, 28-26, and 25-23.

Megan Gilbraith's 50 assists (and a career-high 24 digs) paved the way for three Wolves to end the game with double-doubles in
Kayla Ysteboe,
Jill Rasmussen, and
Melanie Perez. Ysteboe ended the night with 14 kills and 12 digs, Rasmussen ended with 15 kills and 11 digs, and Perez had 11 kills and 18 digs for the Wolves in the win.
Becka Meiser finished the day with 16 digs which sets a new career high for her and
Stephanie Nygaard led the defense with 28 digs, her 28th – 20+ dig match of her career which is tops on the NSU career charts since the 1998 season.
With the win the Wolves move to 14-13 on the year and 5-12 in the NSIC

Jill Rasmussen tomorrow during their Senior Day festivities tomorrow when the Peacocks of Upper Iowa come to town (Rasmussen will be forgoeing her final year of elidgibility to attend medical school). The game time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
