CROOKSTON, Minn. – The Northern State University volleyball team dropped another heart-breaker to Minnesota, Crookston Saturday at Lysaker Gymnasium in Crookston, Minnesota.  Set scores for the match were 20-25, 19-25, 34-32, 25-20, and 8-15.

The Wolves had four players with 10 or more kills in the form of Melanie Perez (12), Kayla Ysteboe (11), Becka Meiser (10), and Jill Rasmussen (10) with Perez recording the only double-double after registering 11 digs defensively.  Jill Rasmussen led the defensive front with five blocks.Megan Gilbraith passed out 54 assists to go with nine digs, four kills, and two aces.  Stephanie Nygaard once again led the defense with 27 digs.

With the loss the Wolves fall to 13-13 overall and 4-12 in the NSIC.

The Wolves return home next weekend for a two-match home-stand and will host Winona State on Friday and Upper Iowa on Saturday.
