Kelson Brewer, a freshmen out of Lakewood High School, Stanwood Washington, added a victory and other respectable performances to the Wolves track and field meet over the weekend in the Sioux City Relays. Amongst a very strong field of 30 runners, Brewer won the 400m hurdles hitting the line with a time of 55.41 edging off a South Dakota runner by a tenth of a second. The Wolf led the 1600m sprint medley to a second place finish in a time of 3:31.14 and also the 4x100 meter relay team to an eighth place finish in 44.41.
