Hannah Kastigar a junior out of Aberdeen Central, Aberdeen S.D. led the Wolves through the water this weekend while competing at the University of Mary. Kastigar was crowned the individual champion in all five events, topping opponents in the 50 yard butterfly (26.13), 50 yard backstroke (27.11), 50 yard breaststroke (30.16), 50 yard freestyle (24.48) and the 100 yard IM (58.22). The junior earned 45 individual points with the second place swimmer tallying 11.50. Kastigar broke three school records by posting a 26.13 in the 50 yard butterfly, a 30.16 in the 50 yard breaststroke and a 58.22 in the 100 yard IM. The Wolf now owns 14 school records in her first season with the program.
