Pickering tallied an event win and school record from the SDSU D2 Open. She opened her weekend with a best in the 5000m, winning the race in 17:40.97; and defeating the second place finisher by 40 seconds. The senior added a second place finish in the mile with a school record time of 5:05.71. She broke a 40-year school record by nearly two seconds. In addition, Pickering ranks third in the NSIC in the 5000m.
