Olson propelled the Wolves with their only technical fall victory against Concordia College Moorhead as Northern defeated the Cobbers 26-11 in the home opener. He grabbed the lead for NSU in the 174 pound match in dramatic fashion, defeating Collin Dolejs as time expired in the second period. Olson took a 4-0 lead in the first with a takedown and 2-point nearfall. He went on to expose Dolejs weakness in the second with 12 points on a reversal, a 2-point nearfall, and two 4-point nearfalls. The junior capped off the win, with over three minutes of riding time for his 17th point in the match. Olson is now 2-2 overall this season and 2-1 in duals for the Wolves.
