Adam Kampsen (Sr., IF, Paynesville, Minn.) had an explosive week, leading the Wolves to a 5-2 record in their last week of play.  He had multi-hit games in each of four games played against Concordia-St. Paul over the weekend and had a huge day on Sunday.  Kampsen stepped to the plate and drilled two-run homers in his first three at bats in game 1, finishing the game going 4-for-4 with a walk in the 15-4 NSU win.  Kampsen was also responsible for driving in all five of NSU’s runs in the second game, with the RBI’s all coming from long balls (2-run homer, 3-run homer).  On the day he went 6-for-8 at the plate with five homers.  Kampsen batted .542 on the week with 13 hits, six of which were homeruns, and 15 RBI’s.  He also hit two doubles, drew five walks and only struck out one time.  Playing shortstop for the Wolves, Kampsen had seven putouts and 24 assists and did not commit an error.  The senior leads the NSIC in homeruns (15) and RBI's (57) and is second for batting average (.435).
