Parsley and the NSU football team faced off against the No. 1 team in the nation, Minnesota State in week two of NSIC play. With the Wolves down 13-3 late in the second quarter, Parsley picked off a Maverick pass attempt for his first interception of the year. Joe’s 12 yard return left the Wolves with great field position on the Mavericks 21 yard line. Northern capitalized, as two players later, Kyle Lavand connected with Tyrell Anderson for the pairs’ first touchdown of the season. He added two tackles in the game as well.
