Trent Bestland (RHP, 6-1, 170, Jr., Monticello, Minn./Monticello HS) is nominated as athlete of the week for his best game of the season in Game 2 of Monday’s conference-opening doubleheader at Winona State.  After giving up one run to the Warriors in the first inning, Bestland settled in for a complete game appearance, allowing just four hits and the one run while striking out seven, but was forced to absorb the loss in NSU’s 1-0 set-back.
