Season and Career Bests

Prep: Kamdyn Barrientos is a thrower out of Grand Island Senior High. She was a 4-year letter winner for the Islanders under the direction of head coach Jeff Tomlin. Barrientos holds personal records of 40-00 in the shot put, and 133-06 in the discus. She placed at the NE State Meet in both the Discus (runner-up) and Shot Put (5^th Place). She was named the 2021 Athlete of the Year and is a 2-time Nebraska State qualifier. She is the daughter of Jami and Jamie Barrientos and will also be a member of the Northern State softball team.
