Biography

2015-16: Competed in the sprint and hurdle events for the Wolves… Tallied 19 top-10 finishes on the year… Was a member of the winning sprint medley relay at the Sioux City Relays and the 4x400m relay at the NSU Twilight… Recorded a personal best in the outdoor 400m with a time of 59.67…

2014-15: Recorded personal bests in the 60m (8.75), 200m (27.96), 300m (45.80), 400m (1:00.50), and 400m hurdles (1:05.51)… Tallied 21 top ten finishes on the year… Won the 400m hurdles at the NSU Outdoor Open… Took first in the 1600m print medley relay at the Sioux City Relays… Placed ninth in the 4x4 at the NSIC Indoor Championships… Finished ninth and tenth in the 4x4 and 400m hurdles at the NSIC Outdoor Championships… 

Career and Season Bests

Before NSU: Wimer is a native of Leola, S.D., and is a two-time state qualifier. Wimer placed fifth in the 300-meter hurdles in 2013 and was a two-time team MVP for Leola.
