Track and Field

2016-17: Tallied season bests of 1:45.09 in the 600m and 2:26.76 in the 800m… Was a member of the winning 4x400m relay team at the NSU Twilight… Won the 4x800m relay at the Sioux City Relays…

2015-16: Competed in the distance events and relays for the Wolves… Tallied 24 top-10 finishes on the year… Won the 800m prelims at the NSIC Outdoor Championships… Was on the winning distance medley relay at the Cobber Duals, sprint medley relay at the Sioux City Relays, and 4x400m relay at the NSU Twilight… Recorded personal bests in the 600m (1:39.65) and 800m (2:17.50)…

Pre-NSU: Korvela is a three-time state qualifier, has won three section titles, five subsections titles and is a seven-time conference champion at Menahga High School. In addition to being an all-conference performer for the Warriors, Korvela is also a three-time state medalist in the long sprint/middle distance events. Korvela also participates in cross country and is a member of the Academic All-State.
