Before NSU
Hersh played at RHAM High School in Connecticut where she was an All-State selection her senior year and was a two-time All-Conference honoree. Hersh, who played center-mid for Head Coach Melissa Kissane, was also the team's MVP her senior season. She was also a member of the Soccer Plus Elite ECNL team in Connecticut.
