Biography

Before NSU
Sommers, who also attended Roncalli but played for Central, helped lead the Golden Eagles to two state titles (2011 and 2012). Sommers was named First Team All-State her junior and senior seasons and was a second team selection following her sophomore campaign. Sommers, who was a captain for the soccer team and named Player of the year, was also a highly decorated track athlete and basketball player at Roncalli. Sommers was also a member of the National Honor Society, was Academic All-State in basketball and soccer and is a Region Scholar. Sommers played her club ball with the Hub City Soccer Club of Aberdeen under coach Kehm.
